Ray and Birgitte

A couple of weeks ago John was out in the Miss Ella with his first mate to check out the new boats in the harbor. He ended up talking to the owners of a stunning Oyster 53, one of whom turned out to be a fellow Norwegian. Birgitte and her boyfriend, a Brit named Ray, became instant friends (Norwegians are so fricking friendly it's incredible) and a few days later they invited us to sail over to Roatan with them. We had a BLAST. Here are some pictures from our three nights last week aboard the Out of India. Ray and Birgitte are so much fun...we really needed a little break from Utila (it's lovely but very, very small) and this was perfect.

The picture of Birgitte. Isn't she pretty?

Coveting wine during dinner on the boat. We were fed so well.

Right now the couple is sailing around the other Bay Islands but they've promised to stop through on their way back to Guatemala so we can cook for them. Which will be interesting due to our current kitchen situation. Stay tuned for pictures of the hole where our kitchen used to be...
