Gus and My Trip to the Big City
Last week Angus and I went on a three-day excursion to get his US passport lined up in San Pedro Sula (attempt number two). JA stayed home with Bine. It was nice change for both of us, to only have one kid to serve on hand and foot for a couple of days. And really fun for me to be able to spend so much time with my little man. He was an excellent travel companion and we had a very relaxing trip. And, fingers crossed, we seem to have secured his US citizenship and passport. Team Løken is not planning on going anywhere anytime soon, but it is nice to know you have the ability to leave the country if you want.
at the San Pedro Sula bus station.
Back of the instant creamer container:"As with all powdery food products, avoid use near an open flame."
You know you're in Honduras when there is "plato tipico"on the Wendy's menu. (Meat, beans, plantains, eggs, tortillas)

Nice pic's. Now about the "not planning on leaving anytime soon" comment. Thought you might be coming this way at Christmas. We're in need of Baby and Bine smooching. Hugs, Aunt Kay

Great pics and how brave of you to ride the bus all the way to San Pedro and take on the government in trying to pursue something that is supposed to be automatic. The amazing part of this is that you will likely get his passport quicker in Honduras than could ever be possible in the US.
