My First Mother's Day

I used to think of Mother's Day as another one of those invented holidays so that greeting card companies, candy makers and florists could rake in the moolah. After nine months of being a new mom I now think that Mother's Day is an invented holiday so that greeting card companies, candy makers, and florists can rake in the moolah, but also please send me cards and bring me chocolates and flowers because man is this hard work.
