Steps and Stuff

It seems like Bine really wants to walk. At times she'll be fussy until JA stands her up and then she immediately gets a content/ambitious look on her face.


Bine met Swedish Dan. He lives on the western end of Utila, which one can only reach by boat. We hadn't seen him in ages, since he left for Europe in May and then we took off for the US and Norway. He was passing by on his way into town on Monday when I spotted his boat and waved him down. It was a happy reunion. I missed him.

She also had her first taste of banana. Not just any banana, one grown on JA's land on Stuart's Hill. They're by far the most delectable bananas I've ever eaten. Only the best, Bean Baby.
