The Return of John's Blog
Apathy pays. My blogging laziness has been such a vacuum lately that I have usurped all of John's, resulting in him posting--following weeks of very little action on his website--lovely pictures of our mainland adventure in the mountains. I am sad to report that Anne-Marthe and Felix have gone back to Berlin, but we had a glorious last hurrah at Pico Bonito National Park on the mainland the day before their departure. Pico Bonito is the largest peak in the range we can see from Utila and the inspiration for John's new blog name. It also harbors giant blue butterflies, waterfalls, and thick green jungle. Seriously, come visit me already.
See evidence of my new country's natural beauty, Felix/Marthe's hiking prowess, my ever-increasing laugh lines, and John's expert (semi-missing-linkish) vine-scaling skills. (Our guide, Alejandro, grandfather to thirty who is also pictured mid-vine, was stunned by John's climbing ease and could only repeatedly mutter "magnificent.")

Anne-Marthe and Felix, we miss you. And we're not the only ones...the sand flies inquire about you daily.
